In early May we got to go to his Preschool Open House and his Kindergarten Orientation in the same week. My little boy is sure growing up. He had his last day of Awana Cubbies last Wednesday, and his last day of preschool last Thursday. Next year it's on to bigger (and better?) things. Can't believe we'll have a school age child soon. I've heard it's a whole new phase of life. Gulp.
During the Awana Awards Ceremony, he got to recite a verse into the microphone. He spoke very loudly and clearly, "I will trust in the Lord!" Then, feeding off the crowd's positive response, said in a loud voice with hand gestures (after the microphone had been passed to the next kid), "Thank you all for coming tonight!". I guess we don't have to worry about him being comfortable on stage.
